Clinical fellowship training may include supervised patient care and can require local licensing and credentialing. Research roles focus on scholarship and may have different registration requirements. Observerships are observational and should not be assumed to permit clinical work. Ask the host to define the role, supervision, indemnity and certificate before you accept.
